"Find a penny, pick it up.  All day long, you’ll have good luck." 

This rhyme refers to an old superstition that I learned as a child.  I normally don’t pick up pennies I see on the ground (probably because I’m too lazy to bend down), but on this particular day, seeing the penny stopped me in my tracks.  After I took a photo, I picked it up.   A few days later, I found ten dollars on the ground.  I don’t know if my luck at find the money was due to picking up the penny or not.  However, I was certainly happy to find the ten bucks.   I should have played Lotto after that.  Who knows, it may have been my lucky day and I may have won.
