On the Tour Bus

Passing by the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, these tourists concentrate on taking plenty of exterior photos of the cathedral from their double decker bus (while I concentrate on taking a photo of them).

Ed. Note:   Let’s all join in on the fun of helping Abraham Lincoln make one of his blogs famous in the Wall Street Journal.  He needs about 10,000 visitors’ comments posted on his blog.  So, when you have some time, stop by Abraham’s Pick a Peck of Pixels blog.      ;-)

Riding Down Fifth Avenue

Instead of a Yellow cab, how about taking a bike taxi.  I’ve never been on one of these.

Bike or Car?

Near Central Park, you have a choice of taking a bike taxi, like this couple below.

The couple above are headed into Central Park.

Time for the Circle Line, Again

May 7, 2008 | Filed Under Circle Line, Harlem River, Rivers, Touristy things | 9 Comments

It’s that time of the year to see the Circle Line cruising down the Harlem River.   I like to watch it pass by and I’m always tempted to wave at the passengers on the boat but I don’t.  The Circle Line offers different tours.  The longest is the 3-hour cruise, where one gets to see all the boroughs, rivers, major bridges and major landmarks of New York City.  There are two-hour and 75 minute tours, too.  The last time I was on the Circle Line, I was a little girl.  Maybe it’s time to take another cruise.
