Again

LOL!  Last year, I’d mentioned how my delivery man from the grocery store surprised me flowers when he delivered my groceries.  He did it again this Sunday morning.

First he gave me my groceries and then handed me a colorful bouquet of flowers.

"And this is for you," he said.

It was a nice surprise.  Again. 

When I mentioned the story, a few of you speculated that he liked me in a romantic way, but  I don’t think so.  He was just doing something nice.   Believe it or not, there actually are people in NYC who like to do nice things once in a while, you know.   LOL!  

Not so long ago, the driver of the bus I take when commuting home from work gave me a dozen roses.  Out of the blue!  The last thing I expected as I stepped off the bus was to be given a bunch of red roses.  Later, he told me he liked to give people flowers.  Whatever the reason and why he chose me, I don’t know.  Perhaps it was because I would greet him when I got on the bus and thank him when I exited the bus?  I don’t know but that day, he decided to give me flowers.

Whatever the reasoning, I took the unexpected flowers as a nice gesture.
