Building a Snowman
January 3, 2011 | Filed Under Riverside Park, Snow, Snowman, Winter | 5 Comments

While these kids built their snowman, the adult with them took a photo with his phone. You should have heard the kids giggling and laughing as they played and built their snowman. They were certainly having a fun time.
Thankfully, the snow continues to melt in the city.
Have a great week, all.

Snowman

Since the blizzard you can find a snowman just about anywhere — on the sidewalk or in this case the park.
This poor guys arm fell off, it seems.
Happy Sunday.

LONELY SNOWMAN
Lonely snowman, armless one,
How can you have any fun
With but one limb and not two?
(Can’t say that I envy you!)
When the snow flies you are glad.
When it melts, then you’ll be sad,
For a puddle you will be,
No more a delight to see.
Though you soon will melt away,
Here is what I hope and pray:
That your mem’ry will live on
Long, long after you are gone!
