Shadow Shot Sunday: Broadway Malls
April 25, 2010 | Filed Under Broadway Malls, City Streets and Sidewalks, Nature in NYC, Photo Blogging Theme Day, Shadow Shot Sunday, Shadows | 14 Comments

Despite the name Broadway Malls, you can see, this is not a shopping mall on Broadway. The Broadway Malls is a landscaped median strip, stretching from 60th street to 168th street on Broadway. You’ll find benches, plants, trees, birds and sometimes an occassional squirrel. It’s a place where New Yorkers can enjoy a little bit of nature and their surroundings.
On this sunny day, a pattern of shadows also decorated this section of the Broadway Malls — a perfect shot for Shadow Shot Sunday.

Traces of snow and some shadows on one of the many quiet streets of the city. Although they’re similar, I couldn’t figure out which photo to post, so you get both.
Which one do you prefer?
Visit HEY HARRIET to see a fun lineup of shadow shot contributions from others. I’m very behind in visiting other blogs this week. Please forgive me.
