I took this photo around November of 2009. Can’t believe the 2010 is almost over.
It’s Ruby Tuesday, a designated day to post photos with a touch of red.
Check out WORK OF THE POET to see a line up of other Ruby Tuesday photos.

It’s Ruby Tuesday again. Here’s my contribution to celebrate the occasion.
I took this photo in June. Seems like there are a lot of New Yorkers walking around with red bags ( I posted another red bag, not long ago, here.)
Stop by WORK OF THE POET to see more RT photos.

I took this photo in September. The blue boat is the NYC Police and the red boat is the U.S. Coast Guard.
Happy Ruby Tuesday! Visit WORK OF THE POET to see other photos with the color red theme.

Ed. Note: The boats were on safety patrol during the United Nations General Assembly meeting, when a lot of diginitaries, including the U.S. president attended the conference.

Celebrating Mexico
Marching down the avenue,
Marching with such flair,
Celebrating Mexico,
Wishing we were there.
Dressed in red and white and green,
Walking hand in hand,
Celebrating Mexico—
How we love our land!

About a week ago, Mexican Day parade was held. There were lots of participants — lots of people wearing green, white and RED.
Happy Ruby Tuesday, everyone! Stop by WORK OF THE POET to see a lineup of other photos that feature the color red.

Ed. Note: Thanks to Magical Mystical Teacher for the poem. I love it!
