Some Street Signs

Some signs in the Chelsea area  Greenwich Village area (West Village on Hudson Street) that I found interesting.  I wonder how they came about these sign names.   Little W[est] 12[th] Street?  Why little?  Hmmm…

Gansevoort?  Interesting name.

I do like the name Horatio.

Happy Wednesday, all.

Myers of Keswick

One of the things I love about New York is that you can find almost anything, especially food, here.  For example, if you’re looking for traditional English food products — from jams, teas, pies, crackers, steak & kidney, Black pudding, Irish Cheddar Cheese, and more –  you can find them at Myers of Keswick in the Village.  I stopped by this shop with Elizabeth and Buster

Ed. Note:  I bought some crackers here.  Turned out they were crackers that my mom used to enjoy as a young girl in Africa.  Brought back some nice memories for her.  She plans on visiting this store soon.
