At this time of the year, the mausoleum of Civil War General and 18th U. S. President Ulysses S. Grant and his wife is decorated with the American flag to commemorate Grant’s birthday (April 27) and Memorial Day. (May 25).

When I hung out with Elizabeth the other day, we went to the rooftop of her building, which provides a spectacular panoramic view.
Hey, that’s the Empire State Building. So, where’s King Kong? I thought he always hangs out there.
