Today, the wisteria is long gone now from the front of this building.
I took these photos in April.
The door of this building caught my eye. I can imagine that it has seen much better days, but I still see a beauty in it. I like the decorative carvings.

I stopped to admire the molding/designs/details (what do you call this?) on some brownstones that I bypass all the time but never really paid attention to, before. Is this for decorative purposes or something more important, I wonder?
Interesting moldings.
I’ll have to pay attention to the other brownstones in the neighborhood, next time.
