This is the window of a food store on the Upper West Side. It carries many food products from Italy.

Ed. Note: Mizhelle in the comments section asked what is on display. In the red boxes are Perugina Panettone. Panettone is an Italian holiday cake — a rich sweet cake with raisins, orange peel, pinenuts and anise. It’s baked in a special tall mold called a panettone pan and served at Christmas, New Year’s and celebrations such as weddings and christenings. Panettone is also served as a bread, coffeecake or dessert. You can read more about panettone here. In the photo below are cans of extra virgin olive oil (Castelvitrano oil). I’m not sure what’s in the brown box above. Probably another type of dessert.
