The other day, walking downtown, I passed by a grocery store that sold flowers on the outside.  Of course, I had to stop in front of my favorite flowers. I love sunflowers!

 

One of my favorite memories about Italy is passing by the fields of great big sunflowers.  Their faces were all upturned to the sun.  The field looked like one great big field of gold.

I passed by a house in the Bronx and to my surprise saw sunflowers in the front yard growing over six feet tall.  They were very impressive-looking.  Sunflowers are my favorite.
