Around the holiday season in December, I took a photo of this building decorated with red ribbons. Months later, in February, I passed by again and was surprised to see that the ribbons were still decorating the facade of the building. I’m now curious to know whether the red ribbons are still up. Here’s an apartment building on Manhattan’s East side. The window views must be spectacular but I wouldn’t like to live in this building. Too tall for me. I wonder how long it takes for an elevator to arrive. I wonder what the person who lives on the top floor will do if the elevators stopped running. Looks like a lot of stairs to climb.

Today is Thursday and I usually participate in the photo blogging theme day event, Motion Thursday. However, I haven’t been able to take any shots of any subjects in motion this week. Actually, I haven’t been able to take any photos this week. So, here’s something from the archives. Here are two photos I took back in December 2009 (Autumn/Fall).
