Today’s Flowers

Anyone know the name of this flower?  Can someone tell me, please?   ;-)  These flowers were part of a collection in a flower box on a building stoop.  They are no longer there.   Something more appropriate for the Fall season has replaced it.

    I’m sure someone will come along who knows the name of this lovely flower!! they have a little bit of a similarity to an orchid…

    What gorgeous white flowers! It looks something like a snapdragon to me. I hope someone can identify it for you.

    They look similas to snapdragons, also the leaves, somewhere in the back of my mind I hear a little bell tinkling but can’t put my finger on it. It looks like a bi-annual.

    I still try to find an online tutorial on how to recognize and named a flower’s :)

    I was going to say snapdragon, sounds like others are in agreement. It’s lovely with that green throat, looks like a screamer. heh heh heh

    Paz, I guess they are White Snapdragons but not much sure.
    Anyhow, they are fantastic.

    I don’t know what they’re not snapdragons unless they’re a variation of them. Snapdragons’ petals close like a mouth over the center. I’ve seen this but never identified them. Nice shots by the way! :-)

    Don’t know what they are, but they don’t look like snapdragons to me, and I do know snapdragons. Lovely photo!

    It is a lovely flower Paz and I am sure I have seen them in bouquets but I can not give you the name of them either! This post could have been ‘The Mystery of the White Flower’!

    I can recognize the plant group it belongs to, but the species ?? probably a hybrid or a …x… I really would like to know. Your shadow shot is outstanding ! a linear pearl, perfect composition.

    Hi Paz. This flower may be an open-faced snapdragon called Madame Butterfly. Check out this link: http://www.capitalgardens.co.uk/v3/antirrhinum-majus-double-madame-butterfly-mixed-snapdragon-seeds-p-10270.html and look especially at the white one.
