Summer Look

Last Autumn, I’d taken a photo of this building stoop with the flowers. There’s a big difference today. I like the summer look here — the beautiful, colorful flowers. I also like the flower containers.
Have a good Monday, a good start of the week, everyone.

As you can imagine, you’ll find lots of buildings in the concrete jungle.
Happy Friday, everyone!

Ruby Tuesday: Close up

Around the holiday season in December, I took a photo of this building decorated with red ribbons. Months later, in February, I passed by again and was surprised to see that the ribbons were still decorating the facade of the building. I’m now curious to know whether the red ribbons are still up. You can see the first photo here.
Check out WORK OF THE POET to see other Ruby Tuesday photos — photos that feature the color red.

Moving on Up

Here’s an apartment building on Manhattan’s East side. The window views must be spectacular but I wouldn’t like to live in this building. Too tall for me. I wonder how long it takes for an elevator to arrive. I wonder what the person who lives on the top floor will do if the elevators stopped running. Looks like a lot of stairs to climb.
