Small Puddle

The snow melted quickly.  However, it left puddles all over the place.

Thankfully this is a small puddle, but pedestrians still jumped over it.

  1. Splash! 😉

I actually read “poodle” when I saw your title show up on my blogroll.
Mixing up languages is easy to do (poodle is written and pronounce in German like the English “puddle”, with one soft d, though.

Hi Merisi! How funny! I may have read it as poodle, too, if I looked at the word very quickly. In that case, I say, “Woof! Woof!” Or “Bow wow!”

Thanks, Lily! Yes, all snow on that street now. I was thinking of going back to take a photo of it today but I have to go in the opposite direction. So many places to go in the snow, today. :-) Glad you like the tree photo. :-)

  4. The bright coats and other brights (red sign, lime green car) brighten the gray New York City weather, as does the action of the pedestrian puddle steppers.

    • Hi Leora! I like the bright colors, too. I was a bit more cautious jumping over the puddle than my young, energetic friends. :-)
