Subway Station

This subway station in Washington Heights is 10 stories underground.

You have to take the elevator to get  (and leave) the subway platform.

  4. It looks like a cold place. And thinking about some person pushing me onto the tracks makes it a living nightmare. Got to wake up and move on.

    • Hi Abraham: During the winter, the subway station is okay. Not so cold. During the summertime, especially during heatwave, it is super hot and uncomfortable. When I take the subway (or go anywhere), I am positive and don’t think about things like someone pushing me unto the tracks (that’s rare occurrence, by the way). I stand in appropriate places and I try to be aware of my surroundings and people around me. That’s one of the best ways to stay safe in subway. :-)

  5. Great photos showing movement. Yep, atmospheric pretty much describes these. I think if that for my first time in a New York subway I’d want to be with you. ‘-)
