Pigeons

No one lives, any longer, in this beautifully-designed building, which has seen better days.  After a fire many years ago, it was never renovated.  I remember that a lot of families were displaced after the fire.  The only signs of life you will now see, near the building, are the pigeons.  They hang out in the front of the building, seemingly unnoticed by people walking past, below.

    What a sad waste. and those gorgeous wrought iron fire escapes!! I adore NYC’s fire escapes on the buildings, they are art within themselves Paz!!
