Thank you, Rosa!
Very poignant…*sigh*…. ((HUGS))
Dear Paz,
What a moving memorial.
For the First World war they call it (in England anyway) the GREAT WAR because obviously they didn’t know about the second one…. yet……
call me
we need to get together!

Hi Elizabeth: How interesting that it’s called the Great War. I learn something new because I never heard that reference
before. See you soon!

We have sculptures similar to this in Australia, and they wrench my heart every time. With this one you have photographed Paz, I wonder who the
sculptor is who was commissioned to do the work. It is a remarkable and very moving sculpture.
Hi Rose: Yes, these types of sculptures are heart-wrenching. I didn’t see any info about the sculptor, but I will be
in that neighborhood soon and look again. I’ll come back and let you know.

Great photos.
Paz, we never made it to NY. We spent all our vacation, three weeks, in California. You can see all the posts here:

Hi Britt Arnhild: I’m sure you had a very good time in California. Thanks for the link to your post about it.
I will check it out very soon.
