Bird Houses

I passed by a school and saw a colorful collection of bird houses hanging from trees.  I image that the students made them.  They did a terrific job.

My sister made me a bird house similar to the ones in the photos.   It is bright yellow and orange-colored with the initial "P" on the side.  I believe she was told that bright colors attract the birds.  I placed my bird house outside the kitchen window.   Despite the free rent, the birds don’t seem interested in it.   It’s probably too close to humans for their comfort.   My bird house looks nice, though.    I like it a lot.
