Door

May 27, 2012 | Filed Under Brownstones, Harlem, Harlem Brownstones, Wisteria

Today, the wisteria is long gone now from the front of this building.

I took these photos in April.

The door of this building caught my eye.  I can imagine that it has seen much better days, but I still see a beauty in it.  I like the decorative carvings.

More decorations…

… simple and nice.

  4. Hi Rosa: I agree — beautiful, romantic and mysterious. What’s behind that door, I wonder. ;)

Hi Elizabeth: I love wisteria, too, especially when it’s blooming in all its glory.

Hi Liisamarja: You mean you can make the door better looking? I’m impressed!

    • if it’s your door, for room and board i’d fix it in no time! few years back i took and passed a carpenter’s vocational exam,
long way to master class and out of practice, but fixing that door really isn’t that hard.
