White summer dress, spaghetti straps, low-heeled summer shoes, she certainly looks cool but a little impatient. She looks like she’s waiting for someone.

Summer in the City

How come men can go topless in the city but women can’t. If I were to walk around the city without a shirt, I’d most likely be arrested for indecent exposure or maybe, Playboy will ask me to be in their magazine.

Just when I took the photo, one of the guys (on the right) turned around and caught me. I gave him a nice smile, waved and kept walking. What do you think he’s saying here?

These two crossed the street very slowly but they made it across the street safely, without being run over by any cars.
Happy Monday, everyone!

War is Not Healthy…

… for children and other living beings.
I like this sign in the store window. It’s very true.

Ed. Note: Mo, one of the readers kindly contributed interesting info on the saying. Thank you! Here it is: "The interesting story of this great poster from the Vietnam War era can be found at http://www.aiga.org/war-is-not-healthy-the-true-story/ (the web site of the American Institute of Graphic Arts). Those of us ancient enough to have lived in a college dorm back then remember it as being almost as common an item of furnishing as pillowcases (actually, maybe more so). A beautiful way to express a very serious sentiment."
