Good bye leaves.
See ya in the spring.
Check out WORK OF THE POET to see other photos with a red color theme.

Ed Note: Thank you Magical Mystical Teacher for your awesome poem!
THE RED LEAF’S SOLILOQUY
Why am I here (said the red leaf)
Among all these leaves of dull brown?
Surely I’m much more resplendent—
Perhaps even fit for a crown.
So much more have I to offer
Than leaves that are yellow or green;
To think that no would notice—
Unthinkable! Oh, how obscene!
My veins are flowing with scarlet,
With royal vermilion and red,
While all those leaves that are common
Move sludge through their dull veins instead.
Choose me above all the others
My glory will last, never fade;
I am the leaf of your longings,
Most exquisite leaf ever made.

Leaves seem to be a popular topic today. Nicely captured. Happy Ruby Tuesday.
Simply gorgeous. I can’t get enough of fallen leaves…
the lone red leaf looks wonderful in that pile of yellow
Gorgeous autum image!
I love Magical Mystery Teacher’s poetry. Your red leaf truly is resplendent among the brown, green and yellow.

Great photo to accompany a nice poem! The red really does stand out a lot!
The red leaf among the yellow is such a pretty sight. And I love Magical Mystical Teacher’s poem.
The maple leaf is a bold ruby that stands out far above the other leaves. This is a nice red leaf, sad that it is on the ground. But we all have Spring to await…
The photo is great and perfect to go with this poem! Have a great Thanksgiving!
I see that you’ve joined forces with MMT on this one! Excellent, both.

Nice poem and great photo. This is ideal for Ruby Tuesday entry!!!
The picture is so beautiful and so is the poem–have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday
These are lovely pictures! They remind me of the long walks I used to take in the park with my dog, Muggins. Out here by the beach, we don’t get much color in the fallen leaves for some reason. Not complaining though …
the ocean makes up for it.
Very nice Autumn picture! Love the color and the shape of the leaves.
A lovely, natural photo for Ruby Tuesday. I love MMT’s poem, too!
