New York Water Taxi is a water taxi service that provides commuter and sightseeing service along the East River and Hudson River (the West Side, Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn). The photos above show the water taxi approaching the East side pier at 34th Street in Manhattan. The water taxi is a great way to see many of the city’s famous landmarks — from the skyline, Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island and more.
I want to thank everyone for the kind messages left for me regarding my dog. I appreciate them very much.

New York Water Taxi sounds a great idea!
Flora send a wave of her tail to you and also kisses.
Have a nice weekend.
Wonderful! Here, we also have water “buses/taxis” that cross the lake…
Cheers,
Rosa
When I go back to New York, you must take me on one of these!
It’s scorching over here right now. What is it like over your neck of the woods? Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
I see you have mastered a very nice slideshow! A great way to capture the activities around the taxi service. So sorry to read about your dog – what an intelligent and handsome face.
Paz, New York Water Taxis are really interesting. They remind me a bit of Venice’s vaporetti.
Very nice Paz! I like your slideshow!
Hi Paz! Venice by the Hudson…

And Spain won…
Meanwhile, as I’m in the office, Blogtrotter Two is on the beach… Enjoy and have a great week!
cool shots of the water taxi
here in NJ the NY Waterways service is popular
many of my neighbors commute that way each day
Cool! I like the yellow paint job on the boats. I used to ferry my car and family on the Staten Island Ferry for fun, but since 911, they don’t allow cars on.
