Historical Figures

The paper picturing Martin Luther King, Jr. and Abraham Lincoln caught my eye.  However, with the exception of stopping to take the photo, I didn’t pick up the paper.  Realistically, I knew I wouldn’t have time to read it.

March 20 is the first day of Spring.   Yay!   I’m sure that this pot will receive a new look with some beautiful colorful flowers.  I can’t wait to see it!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!

At Night

March 19, 2010 | Filed Under College Campus, Columbia University, Holiday Lights | 8 Comments

The Columbia University Campus entrance to College Walk.  The lights go up around the holidays and stay up for the entire winter season.  I’m not sure but I believe they take down the lights when spring arrives.

Ed. Note:  The trees, lining College Walk in front of Kent and Hamilton Halls on the east end and Dodge and Journalism Halls on the west, are illuminated in early December until February 28.
