Ecological Day and Ruby Tuesday
March 2, 2010 | Filed Under Ecological Day, Photo Blogging Theme Day, Ruby Tuesday, Snow, Winter

This is one of the many entrances to Central Park. Nature looks so beautiful, blanketed with snow. We only have one earth, so let’s be good to it, folks. This photo blogging theme, started by Sonia of LEAVES OF GRASS, falls on the second day of every month.

I imagine that these two are on their way to play in the snow in Central Park. How could I miss that red, which is perfect for the photo blogging theme, RUBY TUESDAY, started by Mary the Teach. Stop by WORK OF THE POET to see other Ruby Tuesday photos.

That red really stands out against the white. I imagine “Ruby Tuesday photo” popped into your head when you saw those two.

Central Park looks beautiful in the snow.
bbbrrr…very frosty and wintry–it could be here! ;o) Wonderful photos, Paz… Hope all is going Ok there… ((HUGS))
You got as much snow left as we do here in Ohio. I am waiting for spring and warm weather.
Great photos, the last photo with the red coat. Beautiful!
Happy RT

I used to love to play in snow when I was a kid but now it is way to cool
Ahh, the snow. We trade off, you and I, with this: every time you get some, it’s just barely melted before it shows up over here to torment us. Good to know, really.
Great photo from the entrances to Central Park, Paz! I love snows pictures.
Also great the Ruby Tuesday photo.
Thanks so much for your nice participation on Ecological Day and for the link to Leaves of Grass. So sweet of you!
You received plenty of snow on Manhattan island, you wonder where else you could put it all beyond the Hudson and East Rivers? Central Park is a lovely backdrop, a refuge with the falling snow just making the city quiet and peaceful. A wonderful capture!
Great photos, Paz. Really. And if you’re tired of the snow, just send it my way. I love snow. Miss it.
Wonderful reminder and terrific RUBY shot
Hugs and blessings,
Wonderful photos Paz! I love the red jackets in the second. They’re so beautiful against the black and white.
I’m glad you’re back, too. I hope all is well with the family.
Hugs – Christine
I just noticed the tiny piece of red in the top photo! Center left – what is that? Did you notice it when you took the shot? It’s so … perfect! (Or are my eyes deceiving me?)
Doesn’t RED stand out against the snow so beautifully, Paz? Thanks for participating in Ruby Tuesday!
Still very cold there! Very nice shots for Ecological Day and Ruby Tuesday!
Christine: What a sharp eye you have! I think that is some kind of trash entangled in the tree branch. It happens to be red in color.
Thanks for stopping by, everyone!
