Ruby Tuesday

February 9, 2010 | Filed Under City Streets and Sidewalks, Harlem, Photo Blogging Theme Day, Red, Ruby Tuesday

Who could miss this big guy walking up the street — in red!?  I couldn’t.  So, I snapped my photo shot for Ruby Tuesday.   ;-)

Actually the theme this week for Ruby Tuesday is Valentine’s Day.  However, I haven’t come across any nice red Valentine’s decorations to photograph.  So here’s the big guy instead.  If you squint your eyes tightly and use a little bit of imagination (just a little) you’ll find that he looks like a giant Valentine Heart, walking in the streets of N.Y.   Seriously.  Try it.   You’ll see what I’m talking about.

  1. Valentines Day have been swallowed and overshadowed by Chinese New Year celebrations here, but there’s tons of red around for sure. Happy week ahead.

  9. LOL. Yeh, I can see it. I wonder if he would view himself as that. I did see plenty of rubies on the street, at the store fronts, the parking sign, lady’s shoes and purse, and even the parking meters. great shot.

Did I tell you I’m flying east for 2 weeks? South-east Atlantic. Flight cancelled because of blizzard. We’re on stand-by. Hope you’re staying warm and dry.
