On the Streets
February 7, 2010 | Filed Under Children, City Streets and Sidewalks, New Yorkers

I was trying to get a photo of the kids all bundled up and going somewhere with their caretakers. They were the only ones on the street who wore something colorful. I wasn’t too successful with the shot because people kept walking in front of them (like this guy who should really be wearing a hat and a scarf), but you get the idea. Don’t you?
Happy Monday, everyone.

Happy Monday to you, too, Paz. Nice shot, even if all the color is behind the hatless, scarfless guy.
Have a great week! I won’t be blogging for 2 weeks. Will reveal all when I return.
I still like this though. It is a nice portrait of that man (who isn’t dressed properly).
: )
Yep. I get the idea! I can see the colourful kids
A nice sunny day!
Have a wonderful Monday!
Cheers,
Rosa
But can still see the kids…too cute! Looks frosty but sweetly sunny there… Happy Week, Paz

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Funny how only the kids are wearing something colorful.
I like how the guy came out along with his shadow.
I’m glad the little ones are warmly bundled up!
The lady with the colorful shopping bag completes the picture!
Hey – it’s sunny. You don’t need hat/scarf when it’s sunny!
Hi Paz!
It is so hard to catch an uncrowded shot on the streets of NY
The wind chill was 13 degrees in the park where I walk in the morning…brrr! I am so glad we did not get DC and Maryland’s snow but we might get a large amount on Wednesday …let’s hope not! I can take a few inches but a foot is so much work as I have to shovel out my house and my Mom’s.
XO Pat
Your photos go from strength to strength.
Loved the guy without a hat but also the bird.
Friday seems like a possibility
if there isn’t too much snow!
It is still a nice looking photograph. I like the spots of color too.
We are supposed to get a lot more snow beginning tomorrow morning. Maybe you will get some of it too.
