At the End of the Street
January 7, 2010 | Filed Under City Streets and Sidewalks, The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine

At the end of this small but normally busy street, you’ll find St. John the Divine, the largest Gothic-style cathedral in the world. I’ve posted several photos of it here and I’m sure there’ll be many more to come. Anytime I pass by, I never get tired of taking photos of this cathedral.
Happy Friday, all!

I love that shot!
Cheers and have a wonderful Friday,
Rosa
There is a lot of fancy stone carving in that church as I recall and I think it is seen in this picture. It is a nice shot and the yellow cab color is nice.
Never thought the largest gothic cathedral was in NY!
How large is it?
Great shot, specially it’s really at the end of the street with two cabs passing by.
It’s a beautiful view … I see why you enjoy it.
Hugs and blessings,
Very fine perspective of the Cathedral and the street.
it looks amazing and thoughtprovoking! i would love to have one just like it in my neighbourhood, or well possibly not so close as it feels a bit eerie too…:)
happy weekend!
I ‘ve seen previous posts, and I never can help thinking it’s something one does not expect to see in New York! The yellow cabs racing by give this picture a very new York stazte of mind though. Loved it!
I like this photo. This beautiful church makes this street more beautiful and interesting.
ah, I was thinking of St. John the Divine recently.
Nice shot!
So very New York, busy cabs included!
Thanks for stopping by, everyone!

This is a beautiful shot of a cathedral I dream of visiting some day! Thank you for this, Paz. You can take as many photos as you want, I will want to see them all!
