A Whole Lot of Shovelin’ Going On
January 3, 2010 | Filed Under City Streets and Sidewalks, New Yorkers, Snow, Winter

It was only last year (a few days ago) that we had snow. Many folks were kept busy shoveling the sidewalks. I’m SO glad that the snow has melted. Although, in some places, there are traces of ice, so one has to be careful where one walks.
Happy Monday!

Hello Paz! Happy New Year to you my friend! I hope it will be a beautiful one for you.
PS – Cinema Paradiso is one of my fave films too!
Wow … I love all your wintry photos that are sooooo different from MY views. Thanks for sharing and stay warm
Hugs and blessings,
I love how the snow looks on the trees
wish it would melt on the street and just grace the trees
Great shot. Lots and lots of shoveling in NY, from what I hear. I am so glad it’s there and not here!
I guess the snow is the same everywhere unless you are a child and never saw or played in it before.
I am somewhat better and was able to sleep in my bed last night without coughing my head off. Went to the doctor this morning. She thinks I am doing better and wants me to come back in a week.
Same here, I did not want to get on my bike today, I preferred to walk!
Another beautiful and interesting shot!
It’s the same over in Manchester, UK. It great to be able to capture someone doing it, and a nice one too!

It’s cold enough to play hockey on the rivers, near our home. I’m envious of your weather.
Thanks for stopping by, all!
