In Celebration
November 26, 2009 | Filed Under Chronicles of a NYC Bench, Engraved Name Plates, Riverside Park

I wonder who Hazel was? Obviously, someone special to her friends and family and those who had this engraved plate made, on a park bench, in her honor.

Happy Thanksgiving Paz! Did you go to the parade? I wanted to but I have a stress fracture in my foot….don’t know how I did it. I’ve been trying to rest it as much as possible…and it’s hard as I love to walk!
Have a good weekend!
A lovely and thoughtful photo. Happy Thanksgiving, Paz!
Such an honor to be celebrated like that.
So people wonder who you are when they look at the view!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING, dear Paz
That is a nice tribute, I wonder who Hazel was. . .
The Hazel we know … is a boy.
Hi Pat: A stress fracture? Ouch! I hope you heal very quickly. In the meantime, try to take it easy. No, I didn’t go to the parade. Haven’t done that in ages.
Hi Christine: Thanks! Hope you enjoyed your day.
Hi Elizabeth: Thanks! Hope you had a wonderful day.
Hi Rhonda: I wonder, too.
Hi DaviMack: Hazel? A boy? Interesting!
Thanks for stopping by, everyone!

Paz: On the path I walk at the Kent bog they have many of the boards as memorials, it is a neat thing to think about.
