  1. God help him. At least he has a lovely bedroom – for now.

  2. have you noticed that they put rings in many of the benches around the city so that the homeless cannot lay comfortably on them? i wonder if they only did that in certain areas.

  3. I’m glad he’s got a sleeping bag at least…it must be awfully cold there at night.

  4. this is such a beautiful picture to me though very sad as well. I just can’t feeling when I look at it that it looks so comfortable to sleep there like that but logically it must be otherwise. No one should have to be homeless.

  6. It makes me wonder if he is new at being homeless. His sleeping bag looks new as does his bag on the ground. I guess there are lots more homeless people out and about these days.

  8. It’s a beautiful photo, with all leaves around… but it’s sad too… poor homeless… In the winter to be homeless is worst.

  11. I wonder if this is the same person you photographed a few months back, who wouldn’t leave the bench.

  12. Hi All:

Pete: I’ve seen the benches, which you write about. They have a lot of them in the park, too. I believe these are the latest types of benches. They’ll probably replace all the traditional benches with these new divider ones. That’s my guess.

Abraham: Yes, his sleeping bad does look relatively new. You’re right about so many more people being homeless…

    Hey there, Per!

DaviMack: LOL! You have a very good memory. This is not the homeless man that you remember, although I do see him now on a daily basis as he walks to his favorite bench.

Thanks, everyone, for stopping by with your kind comments.

    Paz
