  3. Paz, your moon is beautiful. It looked gigantic rising up over Long Island last night. I tried to photograph it but I failed miserably!

  7. The first picture of yours I ever responded to was a shot of the moon.
It was hiding behind the Empire State Building last night.
Too many damn street lights in the way!

  9. Nice shot! It’s funny, how small the moon looks, isn’t it? When you’re looking at it, with the naked eye, it just looks … impressive. When through a camera, it’s just WEE!

  11. Great Paz- funny, we shared the same big white disc here too as it lights up the otherwise very dark sky.

Always a thrill to see that big orb in the night sky.
    Terrific shot.

  13. Hi Paz,

Haven’t visited in a bit, so glad to see you’re up and running (but no more flying, OK?) and back to your beautiful photos. This is a stunner, and I LOVE the white caladiums below. My mom used to grow them indoors when I was a kid in the 50s. They do OK in pretty low light. Nice!

  15. lovely evening capture! one of my favourite scented candles goes by that name, harvest moon (‘skördemÃ¥ne’ in swedish), with a warm scent reminiscence of pumpkin and spices. harvest moon is such a beautiful name i think…
