Trick or Treat

October 31, 2009 | Filed Under Halloween | 11 Comments

The grocery store is decorated for Halloween.

Elizabeth of The World Examining Works is hosting a Halloween adventure of sorts, where we can hop around to other blogs and get a trick or a treat.  Actually, I’m sorta late for this.  She hosted this on Thursday, October 29.  But you know the saying, "Better late than never."  So, here’s my contribution.   For more tricks or treats, stop by HERE.

A neighbor carved a pumpkin and offered candy to those passing by.  Help yourself.

Motion Thursday

October 29, 2009 | Filed Under Motion Thursday, Photo Blogging Theme Day | 6 Comments

While all the other cars were in motion, going somewhere, the yellow school bus was not.  It had been stranded on the side of the highway and just uploaded onto the bed of the truck.

Finally, the school bus was in some form of semi motion — with the aid of the truck.

This is my contribution to MOTION THURSDAY, the day to post subjects in motion.  It’s hosted by Mary of Two Frames per Second

Ruby Tuesday

This red-leaf tree caught my eye.  Just in time for Ruby Tuesday, when the photo theme of the day is something red.  Check out WORK OF THE POET for more Ruby Tuesday photos.

Wardrobe Malfunction

October 25, 2009 | Filed Under Cathedrals/Churches | 10 Comments

This church building is under some type of renovation.  The green scaffolding covered the entire building from top to bottom.  However, on a very windy day, a piece of the protective netting fell apart, exposing the top.

The Pink Window

The only pink curtains in the building windows caught my eye.  I’m thinking that it must be a little girl’s room.  What do you think?
