Happy International Day of Peace

Hi everyone! I finally have a new lap top and am connected to the internet. Yay!
This Monday, 21 September 2009, is International Day of Peace. It’s a global holiday started by the United Nations and highlights the end of conflict and the promotion of peace. This day reminds me of a song I used to sing as a young girl in summer camp:
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be…
It would be awesome to have everlasting, worldwide peace, don’t you think? I pray it happens one day.

Paz, it would be wonderful if we had wordwide peace! The prayer you quote is St. Francis’s Prayer which has been put to music and which we sang when I was in high school in the Glee club. My most favorite song! Thanks for sharing! And I’m sooo glad you’re back!
