Today’s Flower: Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary to TODAY’S FLOWERS!

I haven’t been able to participate in TODAY’S FLOWERS for a long time, but I wanted to wish the creators of this blog theme day all the best on its one-year anniversary.

To see a wonderful collection of flower photos, take a look here.

Oh!  Does anyone know the name of this flower?  I took its photo way back in June.  It’s no longer in bloom.  I no longer see it in the park.

Paz

Ed. Note:  Thanks, all, for letting me know that this is a Lacecap Hydrangea.  I love to learn something new everyday.   ;-)

  2. Hey,
It was good seeing your name on the list. I think this is a type of Hydrangea. Hopefully a more knowledgable flower person will know for sure.
Lovely composed image! I just love the pastel colors of the buds.

  9. Definitely a hydrangea. They are so lovely. Some of this type are shades of pink too. I posted some a while ago when I visited the Hereford Lighthouse gardens.

  12. Happy Anniversary!

I love hydrangea, especially green ones. I’ve seen them at weddings and parties and they are so bold (size wise) and beautiful.

  18. I’m not expert but I was going to say a Lacecap Hydrangea and I see it has already been identified by other blogging friends. You’ve taken two lovely photos of them, thanks for sharing with Today’s Flowers.
