After the Game

August 16, 2009 | Filed Under New York Subway Life, Subway Folks, Subway Stations, The Bronx

Subway station near the New York Yankees stadium.

After a Yankee game, folks are heading home.

Someone put a Yankee shirt rain poncho over a pole on the sidewalk.    I think it’s safe to say the person is a Yankee fan.

Life has been getting in the way of my blogging fun.  So, I’m going to try things differently.  Instead of blogging everyday, I’ll blog once or twice a week.  I’ll try to continue visiting other blogs.  Let’s see how that works.  Have a good Monday, everyone.

Happy Blogging!

Paz

  5. I love the photo of the rain poncho on the pole, Paz! We had to buy one the game we went to …luckily the Yankees were still able to finish the game, despite the rain.

I found daily blogs posts impossible too — it is easier to have few days to respond to comments and visit other blogs in between. Enjoy these last summer weeks, even though it is hot and humid today. Winter will be here before we know it!

  6. Paz, this is one of the kinds of photos I like very much!
About daily posts, I find them absolutely impossible for me: I post once or twice a week, no more.

  7. Really cool place. I been telling you that my 17 yr old daughter fall in love NYC. We went to the new stadium but it was too quick as our driver drove us all over. Ended at the Liberty.

    Have a wonderful day, girl!

    cheers…

  9. Great photos, Paz, principally the first one!
About daily posts, I haven’t time to post daily, principally because I write also in English, and it is sometimes difficult to me.

The photos really captured the atmosphere of the area and the fans.

Love the structural aspect of the event – and, yes, aspects of life have to be attended to, too. I am not even sure if bloggers want to see, or have time for daily posts One has to find a comfortable routine though, at the moment, I am still driven by the need to post something, or an idea, that just happened!

  16. what a monstrous thing? We were at the old stadium last summer.

I can relate to your feelings about posting every day. Man, it’s tough. I hope you get a nice break. Often that’s all we need to recharge our batteries.
