A Quiet and Pink Street…

…On the Upper West Side of Manhattan.  I’m enjoying seeing the different flowers (including these pink roses) all over the city.

Ed. Note:  Just learned from Faye in the comments section that these pink beauties are called Knock Out Roses. I love the name.  I’m knocked out by their beauty.    Thanks for the name, Faye.    ;-)

  6. OH PAZ, so beautiful.
I just read your bio, and I thought you were a pro photographer selling your pictures in gallery in NY. You are so right on!
I love NY with a passion and you bring it to life for me again.
Thank you for your lovely perspective.
    Blessings

  8. Wow. I had this identical rose for many years. And it was crowded out, finally, by wild violets. Now I will have to buy a new one as a replacement. Your photography is excellent on these. I also admire any city that does something this spectacular.

  10. These are called knock-out roses, Paz. I always wondered if that is because their beauty knocks us out–or maybe it is because they bloom all summer! Either way these are healthy and beautiful. Thanks for sharing,
    Faye
