Ruby Tuesday: The Truck

March 30, 2009 | Filed Under Photo Blogging Theme Day, Ruby Tuesday

I stood on the roof top of a building overlooking a highway, where this red truck had pulled over to the side of the road.  Moments early, the front section of the truck billowed with smoke (By the time I got my camera, the smoke had stopped.).

The driver got out of the truck and checked around.  He may have made some phone calls, I’m not sure but…

… within a few minutes, fire fighters showed up.  They spoke to him for a few minutes.

I suppose there was no longer any danger because they left.

Not long after that, a police car showed up and regulated the traffic.

Soon, a white truck came to replace the red one.

Reporting from the roof top,

Paz

Oh, by the way, don’t forget to stop by WORK OF THE POET to see a fun line up of other photos with the color red in them and to learn how to participate in this fun photo blogging event.

  7. The white smoke makes me think it was the radiator boiling over and that somebody gave him some water or he fixed the thermostat in the tube going to the radiator so it stayed open and would no longer overheat.
