Attorney Street NYC

I find it interesting that somewhere in New York City, there’s a street called Attorney Street.  Makes me wonder how that street name came to be.  I took this photo when I was in the East Village.

    Hi Paz
    I also wonder why it was named that!? I see lots of interesting street signs in Brooklyn, many named after a famous person who once who lived on the street and many 9/11 victims.

    Notice that there’s only one direction on Attorney Street? I’m thinking that it’s not a direction we’d like to travel. ;)

    The street name is interesting. What I find more interesting is the weather-worn & aged brickwork of the building! I really like that!

    You know what caught my eye was the building behind the street signs! Attorney St., I wonder if any attorneys actually live there?
