Happy Shadow Shot Sunday!

I apologize for not being able to visit other blogs lately.  It’s been really hectic for me and I barely have time to post my own photos and keep up with my blog, much less do some blog reading.  I’m hoping that things will calm down and I’ll be able to enjoy everyone’s blog very soon.

For those who have time and would like to see some fun shadow shots from around the world, visit HEY HARRIET.

How Much is that Cow in the Window?

January 30, 2009 | Filed Under Avenues, East Side, Madison Avenue, Neighborhoods, Window Shopping | 14 Comments

As I passed by the many stores on Madison Avenue, I looked up, from my bus seat, to see a cow in display window.  You don’t usually see a cow in the window.

Ed. Note:  The cow was located on the second floor of the store.  A reader asked what the store sold or what the owners were trying to sell.  I believe it was clothing.  I may pass by the store today, so I’ll double check.  Mooo.   ;-)

Skywatch Friday

I took this photo the week of January 12.  I don’t remember when exactly now.

The moon always looks stunning to me, no matter the stage it’s in.

And here’s a close up of this half moon.

Visit SKYWATCH FRIDAY to see other sky shots from around the world.

Ruby Tuesday: The Door

The door of an apartment building.  I couldn’t figure out which photo to post, so I give you both.  Which one do you like?  The one with the fire hydrant or not?

Visit WORK OF THE POET for more touch-of-red photos!
