Paz: What a neat Moon photo, very nicely done. Happy Thanksgiving, I hope you had a great day.I watched the Macy’s Parade this morning.
wow! and you must have a good zoom to be able to take it so close..happy thanksgiving paz ;D
Marvelous moon shot! Looks like a Macy’s Parade balloon that escaped. Happy Thanksgiving!
lovely moon photo.:D
Beautiful moon! The light in the second photo is also wonderful.
Hi Paz
Amazing first shot….what a great close-up. And I love how clear the sky is in the 2nd shot…I don’t often see the sky above NYC with no clouds in it, not this time of year.
Happy to have found another New Yorker!
Bella (but not quite in the city…)
Paz,
I love your moon shot and the very subtle rings of light around it!! Good job.
Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.
They are both very fine images. The moon close up is fantastic, the landscape looks so surrealistic.
Happy Sky Watch!
love your moon shots Paz!
Oh, wow! How beautiful!
I love the second picture, very serene
fantastic photos, fantastic moment!!thank you!
ciao, luis
How beautiful!!
Through your blog I get to see the moon over Nw York, that’s just great!
That’ beautiful and so well caught in both shots.
Is the top photo a cropped close up of the bottom photo? If so, amazingly clear! I love moon shots and one day I’m going to have me one
There it is!
Happy post-Thanksgiving.
Hope you are having a day off?
Paz- that bottom photo is spectacular. It appears to be a single pearl suspended over the city on a blanket of blue.
What a beauty.
Aye, the moon can be so fascinating. Like the photo : uptown moon !
Sweet Moonshots! Cool!
Cheers, Klaus
Wow! Very beautiful photos!
Killer shot! It inspires me to post a shot I took of a December full moon over the ocean. It was SO COLD when I shot it, I called it Cold Moon.
Oh, wonderful images of the moon!
(I can’t help it, but since I watched the movie “Babe” with my children, every time I see an image of the moon, I hear the voices of those three little mice singing
“Blue Moon, you saw me standing alone,
Without a dream in my heart,
Without a love of my own.”
Thank you for the memories,
and thank you for your visits and kind comments on my blog!
Love Merisi’s Blue Moon song! And your photos are great, Paz.
I see NYC from the NJ turnpike, and it never looks as pretty as in your photos. Have a great weekend.
WOW, so lovely in that blue sky! It must have been a cold night.
What beautiful photos you’ve captured, Paz. Please tell us about your camera and what settings you used to get these shots. Pretty please!
ooh, the second shot is beautiful: so very clear!
Oooh – I love the capture of the moon with the sun still shining!
2 very beautiful moon shots!
Paz
I love both of your pictures.
Have a wonderful weekend. We celebrate the first sunday of Advent.
More on my blog:)
- Cheers Gisela
So all it takes then is two bucks, some exercise in that staircase and – of course – knowing the secret…
Enjoy your weekend!
Nice zoom for you to get that small little moon in the sky and make it look so big and with nice detail too. Good ones.
Hi Paz!
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!
Beautiful moon so high in the sky!
Hugs, Pat
I like the first shot the best. Both are very good.
The most beautiful photos are often the most simple. Nicely done!
Great shots. I like them very much.
Great captures!
Fine moon shot.
Two stunning shots!
Nice contrast between the two. New York looks so peaceful. We went camping over Thanksgiving so I’m late making the rounds. Have a great weekend.
Great city moon shot! Love the skyline.
Great shots. Love that big moon in the first and the skyline shot is awesome as well.
Welcome new visitors and thanks, everyone, for your comments.
Christine, you asked about my camera: I’ve mentioned it in the ABOUT section. It’s a Sony Cybershot. I have no idea about settings. I’d really like to learn about photography and one of these days, I’ll read the camera manual. In the meantime, I just point and shot and sometimes I get lucky.
