  1. Sorry, I don’t but it’s beautiful. Knowing where it was taken might help. And also looking at the leaves; my grandfather was a botany teacher, unfortunately I didn’t inherit the genes (not that I believe they are inherited)!

  11. Very beautiful and fragile-looking flower. I like it.

    We had the tail end of Hurricane Ike here all day. I lost my cherry tree and a lot of limbs. The neighbors lost three trees and they fell on a power line and that weight broke the power pole. Not a good day here in SW Ohio.

  13. It looks like a variation of a rudbeckia, but not the more common black-eyed susan flower.

    Beautiful photo; love the bit of purple you captured behind.

  31. I was hoping someone knew the name. I captured one I’ll be posting sometime this week. I’ve never seen one before with that purple in the center so I snapped it. Nice to see someone else has it too. :-) Great shot by the way. It’s such a pretty little thing.

  33. I too am not sure about the name of this beautiful flower. I think it is some kind of a daisy or coneflower. But what ever it is it is just beautiful; as if it’s smile at me. You photo is great. I saw the photos of the purple petunias behind this flower and they are just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing these photos, I rally enjoyed them all.
