Above the doorway of an office building in mid-town Manhattan
Long, long time ago, Tracy of Pink Purl tagged me for this Archive Meme. I’m finally getting around to completing it.

Link 1 must be about family:
LOL! Umm… Well, I don’t write about my family, so I don’t have a post to give you. Instead, here’s a link to my very first post. This is were it all started.
Link 2 must be about friends:
LOL! Umm.. I don’t write much about my friends here, either. I did write about meeting Elizabeth for the first time, a few months ago. We had a good time at the Neue Musuem. You can check out it out here.
Link 3 must be about yourself, who you are… what you’re all about:
LOL! With the exception of the ABOUT ME section, I don’t have any posts about myself. Instead, here’s a link to an old post on one of my favorite subjects.
Link 4 must be about something you love:
I love NY! So many things to see and do. So many different people to meet. It never gets tiring. There’s always something interesting, something entertaining happening on the streets and sidewalks of the city, like here.
Link 5 can be anything you choose:
Here’s an old post about what I saw on a bus ride.
Do you have any favorites from my archives so far? Tell me.
According to Tracy’s thoughts on this meme: "I think this is a great way to circulate some of the great older posts everyone has written, return to a few great places in our memories and also learn a litte something about ourselves and each other that we may not know."
I think Tracy’s right. In that light, I tag:
1- Anyone
2- Who
3- Would
4- Like to
5- Participate
If you’ve decided to participate, please let me know, so that I can go check out your response on your site.

Archive Meme Guidelines:
Post your five links and then tag five other people. At least TWO of the people you tag must be newer acquaintances so that you get to know each other better… and don’t forget to read the archive posts and leave comments!

On the door of the Russian Tea Room
Tracy of Pink Purl recently tagged me for this new meme — Philosophy of Life in Six Words. Very challenging. It took me a while but here is what I came up with:
"Be kind to animals and less-fortunate."
Yep, that’s it.
Thanks, Tracy, for the tag. I owe you another meme, which I haven’t forgotten about.

Pigeon Watch

This pigeon looks like he (or she?) just woke up. He’s got bed hair.
I couldn’t figure out which photo to post, so you get both. Which one do you prefer?

Ed. Note: The majority seems to like the top photo best. Cool. I also liked the second photo because it shows the colors of the bird — black and white. I liked the white feather. Thanks for your input, everyone!

The Cement Truck

The colorful and fun-looking truck caught my eye as it passed by. That’s the first time I’ve seen a truck like that. What about you?
