Found in the Garden

I saw a whole bunch of these manhole covers (at least, I think they’re manhole covers — Someone correct me if they’re not.) on the garden grounds of the General Theological Seminary. I’m not sure what they were doing on the grass but they looked interesting and very decorative.

Were they tossed there as garbage? If so, I would cart it home and hang it on the wall. Well, maybe not the wall.
Lovely pattern.
I did a spesific post on manhole covers a long time ago. They have always fascinated me.
Hi Ming: I guess you didn’t see it when you where there, huh?
Hi Britt: Must have been an interesting post!

If I knew these forsaken beauties were deserted somewhere near my neighborhood, I would feel an urgent desire to go rescue them (asking for permission, of course, perchance even pay a penny or two).
Hi Merisi: I’m with you! I would have liked to do the same.

how a simple thing that you bump into your everyday life can be very special if we make note of their existance…
Hi Di.Di: We never know what we’ll notice when we step outside.
