A Horse and Buggy Ride

Going up Eighth Avenue, these horses are on their way to Central Park to give rides to paying customers. There are already customers in some of the carriages. I’ve never ridden one of these carriages before. I think it’s the same for many New Yorkers. The carriage rides are more a big hit with those visiting the city.

Not long ago, I posted a photo of the Harlem river. At the time, the surrounding trees were bare. Not long after (overnight, it seemed), leaves appeared on the trees. It happened so fast, like a New York Minute.

Hmmm.. He must have had a long day. Sometimes, I envy people who can sleep anywhere. I see them sleeping on the bus and train all the time and they wake up just in time to get off at their stop.
