Store Holiday Windows

January 3, 2008 | Filed Under Christmas, East Side, Fifth Avenue, Holiday Decorations

During the holidays, many store windows are decorated.  There’s usually a long line of people waiting to see the displays.  The photos here are in front of Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord and Taylor.

  1. I enjoyed 5th Avenue myself!

Sorry I wasn’t able to visit your blog sooner. I was in transit the whole of yesterday.

I am now back in Norwich – :( After enjoying a high of 30C and a low of 25C, can you blame me if I don’t particularly enjoy -1C?
Oh well. There’s spring to look forward to AND in 4 months’ time, I shall be back in Manila again! Yay!

Do swing by my other sites to leave your footprints behind. Read: lovely comments. :)

Happy New Year to you and everyone you hold dear!

Me being a country pumpkin, I wonder how I would survive this.

  5. This is interesting. We do not have these sort of things in Manchester, maybe in London they may have it.

  6. Hi Melissa: The store windows look spectacular. Every year they do their very best to decorate it.

Hi Olivia: I have a feeling you’d survive. You’ll forget about the crowds once you’re looking at everything. ;-)

Hi Yolanda: Welcome. Yes, my name means ‘Peace’ and it is unique compared to other names. I like the name Patria. I hope you’re able to return to NYC under much happier circumstances in the near future.

Hi Alexander: As you wrote, perhaps in London they have the store windows decorated with everyone coming to see them.

Best to all! Thanks for stopping by,
