In less than 24 hours, Times Square will be even more crowded than usual as people gather to celebrate New Year’s Day and watch the famous ball drop. I’ll be watching from the comfort of my bed (If I don’t fall asleep first, that is).

There are a lot of holiday shows performed in the city. At Lincoln Center, two of those shows are the fairy tale ballet, The Nutcracker and the Metropolitan opera’s Hansel and Gretel.
