Hanging by Shoelaces

I’m not sure why this is done but in some parts of the city, you’ll see footwear hanging over electrical lines. There can be one, two or more sneakers hanging from above. A minute before: A flock of pigeons flew in a beautiful pattern over the shoes. See rooftop photo below.

A minute before: These pigeons flew around in an interesting pattern. They flew so fast and furious, making quick turns that I found it hard to take their picture in the air. Every time I’d click on my camera, they turned in a different direction and I’d miss them, instead I’d get a picture of an empty sky. The only time I could capture them with my lens was when they finally stopped to rest on the rooftop.

There are many places of worship all over the city. Some are traditional sanctuaries or historic cathedrals. Other places of worship are held in regular buildings. Here’s a church called Friendly. I like that name.
A minute after I took the photo, an elderly man came out of the store across from the church to see why I took the picture.
