A minute before: A large group of pedestrians crossing the street passed by these two figures. Cars also whizzed past in both directions. A lot of activity around these two still characters.

Minutes before and after: Each photo was taken on a different street and as I walked past each block, the sky got darker and darker and the moon became brighter. Pedestrians and drivers went on their merry way. No one around me stopped to look up at the moon. I suppose they all other things in view, other things in mind. They had places to go, people to see and things to do.

A minute before and after: Everything stayed the same — as if time stood still. Despite the background noise of cars zipping by, the scene was actually peaceful and mesmerizing. I look forward to seeing the changing foliage here. It’ll be quite a sight.
